Hello, I would like to start off by saying in my opinion I think that a lot was accomplished at the September delegates meeting in preparation for the 2008 state competition. I would like to thank the Daytona Police Department and Police Explorer’s for all the hard work that was put into the training, range, and facilities that were made available. I hope that everyone had a safe trip back to their city and look forward to meeting with all of you again at the January delegates meeting in Pinellas Park.

I think that it is apparent some agencies have cut Explorer funds to a minimum, which has prevented many posts from attending these meetings. If you fall under this category please send me contact information so we can add it to the list gathered in Daytona. Once again I look forward to working closely with all of you but this must be a combined effort.
